North Wirral Coastal Park, which stretches along the coast from Wallasey to Leasowe, has been awarded a ‘Green Flag’ - the national standard for parks and green spaces in the UK. The Award was first launched in 1996 to recognise and reward the best green spaces in the country.
As a member of the Friends of North Wirral Coastal Park I am delighted that all their hard work has been recognised. Congratulations to John, Martin and all the other volunteers who do such a fabulous job. If you’d like to know more about the ‘Friends’ group, want to get involved or help them by becoming a member, go to their website here.
