I’m pleased to say that the roundabout in Wallasey Village is to be landscaped, re-planted and bought back to its former glory (without me having to sprinkle grass seed!). The Council took delivery of new turf yesterday, so it will be back to its original condition within the next 10 days, as long as the weather remains ‘snow free’.
This work should have been carried out as soon as the new pipeline (installed by United Utilities) to increase the sewer capacity had been fitted. If they thought they could get away with doing nothing and leaving it as it was – they were wrong.
