Don’t Give A Dog A Bad Name

2009 July 4

Moreton foreshore was the focus today of the latest campaign by the council – ‘Don’t Give A Dog A Bad Name’.  The campaign is aimed at the small number of owners who don’t clean up after their pets.

The campaign is being rolled out across the Borough and as well as covering the coastline it will also patrol parks and open spaces.  It will also target known ‘hot spots’.  So if you don’t bag it and bin it, you will be fined £50.

Good. Please will they also concentrate on the area of grass at Egremont Prom? Children playing there, and sunbathers, don’t realise it’s a dangerous, dogs’ toilet!
