Smoke Alarm Campaign

The Council runs a Landlord Accreditation Scheme which is a voluntary scheme for private landlords, which recognises good quality, well-managed private accommodation.  Yesterday, I met council officers at Wallasey Fire Station, where they were launching a campaign to encourage landlords to have smoke alarms fitted to their rental properties.
