Transport in the North
2009 January 30

Theresa Villiers, Shadow Transport Secretary with Leah Fraser
After eleven years of this Labour Government, there’s been much talk about investment in the infrastructure of the North of England, but little delivery.
So this morning, I travelled to Leeds where William Hague and Theresa Villiers, Shadow Transport Secretary, launched a Policy Commission to identify the transport priorities for the North of England of a Conservative Government. Evidence will be gathered in two ways – inviting representations and fact finding visits.
I look forward to reading the initial findings of the Commission which will be available in October 2009. For more information go to www.transportinthenorth.com
Where can we abtaim some information about transport in england?
